Notice to Lake Placid Waterfront Property Owners:
At the beginning of September 2024, the cofferdam pilings in Bay 1 of the Lake Placid Dam will be cut two (2) feet lower than the elevation of the upstream slab to allow for water to move through Bay 1 and work to begin on Bay 2.
As a result, the present lake level will decrease by two (2) feet for the duration of construction activity on the Lake Placid Dam Project.
